Death Penalty: Against the Execution of Children

A statement issued by the American Ethical Union opposing the use of the death penalty for people under 18 at the time their crimes were committed. This is in accord with long-standing positions of the AEU opposing the death penalty as contrary to the commitment to affirm the worth of every human person, and contrary to our social responsibility to children.
